There’s news about Google Analytics: The Universal Analytics Property is being replaced by Google Analytics 4 Property, which aims to improve data privacy and web content analysis.
If you have Google Analytics implemented on your website (if not, you can skip the rest of the information), your analytics will automatically be configured for the new Google Analytics 4 Property unless you opt out. For the basic setup, you have until February 28, 2023.
However, more complex features such as goals, audiences, and Google Ads links require more time for migration. If you use these features, you have at least an additional month to decide against the transition.
If you have a Universal Analytics 360 Property (a paid version), your Google Analytics 4 Property will not be automatically transitioned. You will need to manually do this before July 1, 2024.
If you’ve already started migrating your website tags, goals, audiences, Google Ads links, and/or goals and audiences used in Google Ads, but haven’t completed the setup by early 2023, your property may also be automatically transitioned.
We’re here to help make the transition as seamless as possible. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
